Puberty is not attained merely by feeling lust and being able to masturbate. Rather, the emission of semen must be confirmed. The discharge of a few drops of semen after masturbation is a sign of puberty. If puberty is confirmed, then the prayers performed while in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity) must be made up. However, if there is doubt about the exact time of puberty, it is only established with certainty.
