What is the solution regarding a wife who does not pray after numerous unsuccessful attempts?

The husband must strive to reform his wife and advise her, as Almighty Allah says: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones." So he should admonish her and explain to her the danger of abandoning prayer, and use legitimate means of discipline with her, such as admonition, forsaking her in bed, and striking her lightly (non-brutally). If she responds, then praise be to Allah. Otherwise, it is better for him to divorce her, for there is no good for him in remaining with a woman who does not pray.
