Is the Hadith: "Three things a person cannot escape: envy, suspicion, and omens" present in Sunan al-Tirmidhi? And if so, where is its exact location?

The aforementioned hadith (definition) is not in Jami' al-Tirmidhi, nor was it narrated by the compilers of the Sunan. It has an origin in hadith books with a very weak chain of transmission from Harithah ibn al-Nu'man. There are also other weak, mursal (missing a Companion in the chain), or mu'dal (missing two or more successive narrators) corroborating narrations and routes for it, which makes it a weak hadith and thus unsound. Its interpretation, assuming its authenticity, is that these characteristics occur in the soul unintentionally, and their mere occurrence does not harm a Muslim as long as he does not persist in them and act upon them. Thus, the way out of envy is seeking forgiveness; out of suspicion is not letting it materialize; and out of ill omens is to proceed with trust in Allah.
