Does the fast become invalid if a fasting woman answers "no" when asked about her fasting, out of fear and embarrassment after waking up from sleep?

If the fasting woman intended to break her fast by saying that she is not fasting, then she has broken her fast. However, if she did not intend to break her fast, but rather lied that she had broken it, then she does not break her fast by doing so, for lying is not among the things that break the fast according to the majority of jurists, in contrast to Imam Al-Awza'i. Lying must be avoided, especially by the fasting person, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever does not abandon false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need of his abandoning his food and drink."
