Is it permissible for a wife to apply henna around the tips of her fingers as an adornment for her husband, while she goes out to work with her hands uncovered?

Dyeing with henna is commendable for a woman as adornment for her husband. When she goes out, she must cover her body and conceal her adornment. There is a disagreement regarding the permissibility of uncovering the face and hands. According to the view that mandates covering them, it is absolutely impermissible to expose the hands to non-mahram men. According to the view that permits uncovering them, there is no objection to the presence of adornment like henna, if there is no fear of temptation. Some scholars have interpreted "what appears thereof" in the verse of adornment as referring to the face, kohl, henna on the hands, and a ring. It is preferable for a woman to cover her entire body, including her face and hands.
