Does attending religious study circles remotely (online) suffice over attending them in the mosque?

Merely hearing an explanation does not suffice, as it cannot replace the necessity of adhering to scholars. This is because there are problems that can only be solved by asking questions. Furthermore, one would miss out on the reward of attending circles of knowledge and benefiting from the demeanor, ethics, and companionship of scholars.
