The answer

If the woman is able to fast, she must make up the six days before . Insulin injections do not harm her as long as she does not drink water afterward. If she is unable to fast due to pregnancy or severe illness, she makes up the fast after Ramadan, and there is nothing else upon her. If she was able to fast but did not until Ramadan began, then she must make up the fast after Ramadan and feed six poor persons one mudd of the staple food of the land for each poor person (approximately 750 grams of rice).
