What is the explanation of the Hadith: "Indeed, every valley in the heart of the son of Adam has a branch. So, whoever follows his heart to all these branches, Allah does not care in which valley He destroys him"?

The aforementioned hadith narrated by Amr ibn al-Aas was reported by Ibn Majah with the wording: "Indeed, from the heart of the son of Adam, there is a branch in every valley. So, whoever follows his heart to all these branches, Allah will not care in which valley He destroys him. And whoever relies on Allah, He will suffice him from branching out." This hadith was graded as weak by Al-Albani.

The intent of this hadith is to deter people from pursuing worldly worries, and it is clarified by the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud: "Whoever makes his worries one single worry, Allah will suffice him for the worries of his Hereafter. And whoever is branched out by worries and worldly affairs, Allah will not care in which of its valleys he perishes." This hadith was graded as good by Al-Albani.
