How is emigration for the sake of Allah in this era?

Hijra (emigration) for the sake of Allah is the movement from a land of polytheism to a land of Islam, just as the Muslims emigrated from Mecca to Medina after its people pledged allegiance to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Hijra can also be from a land of polytheism to another land of polytheism that is less evil and less dangerous for the Muslim, just as some Muslims emigrated from Mecca to Abyssinia by the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
