Is it permissible to move an endowed item, such as a cupboard, from the mosque if it becomes too crowded and there is no longer a need for it?

It is permissible to transfer a waqf (endowment) if doing so is more beneficial. Therefore, if possible, some items can be transferred from one mosque to another. If not possible, these items can be sold and their proceeds spent on the mosque. If the furniture belongs to the Awqaf Department, it may dispose of it in a manner that is most beneficial.
