Is the salary received by an accountant in a company that deals with facilitating (loans) with banks unlawful (haram), especially if the company owner intends to get rid of these loans but cannot secure the amount all at once? And is it advisable to leave this job? And is it permissible for the employee to offer discounts to some customers, provided it does not lead to a loss, if the employer authorizes him to do so? And is it permissible for the employee to claim overtime pay for hours exceeding 8 working hours, according to Jordanian labor law?

If your work involves writing down usury, witnessing it, or calculating it, then it is haram (forbidden), and it is not permissible to remain in it except out of dire necessity. However, if your work is not related to that and the company's activity is permissible, then the salary is halal (lawful), and there is no harm in remaining. The discount you give to customers is not permissible unless it is with the knowledge of the company owner or within their authorization; otherwise, you must bear its value and return it to the company. As for demanding payment for overtime hours, it depends on the contract between you and the company owner; if the contract covers them, then it is not permissible to demand extra payment, otherwise it is permissible.
