Did Sayyida Fatima die while supplicating against our master Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq?
Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) is too honorable to curse the best of this nation after its Prophet. We know of no origin for such a curse. She requested her inheritance from the Prophet (peace be upon him) from Abu Bakr, who informed her of the Hadith: "We do not bequeath inheritance; what we leave behind is charity." She became angry and shunned him until she passed away. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar mentioned that her shunning of Abu Bakr was a cessation of meeting him, not a forbidden shunning, and perhaps its reason was her belief in a different interpretation of the Hadith. He also mentioned a mursal (indirectly transmitted) Hadith that Abu Bakr visited her and appeased her until she was pleased, which resolves the issue.
