Does plasma injection for hair loss break the fast?

Injecting the scalp with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is permissible in Islamic law. It is not considered cosmetic but rather a treatment to remove a defect. It falls under the category of transferring an organ from one part of the body to another part of the same body, which is permissible when certain conditions are met. Injecting plasma into the scalp does not break a fasting person's fast, as it is neither eating nor drinking, nor does it carry their meaning, even if calcium is added to it. This differs from intravenous blood transfusions, which do break the fast.
