What are the means of fighting Satan?

Satan is an enemy to man, and therefore he must be fought by seeking help from Allah and refuge in Him from Satan, by remembering Allah Almighty and persistently doing so, by hastening to do good deeds and avoiding prohibitions and striving against the self, by promptly repenting when falling into sin, by avoiding the company of bad friends and gatherings of disobedience, and by adhering to the Muslim community, for the hand of Allah is with the community, and Satan is with those who separate from it.
