Is it permissible to pay my mother's zakat on her money in advance, given that she is afflicted with Alzheimer's, due to the presence of a needy case?

The majority of scholars permit expediting Zakat before its due date (Hawl) if the wealth has reached the Nisab, especially in times of need. However, regarding expediting the Zakat on the wealth of a ward (Mahjur 'alayh), there is a difference of opinion. The more prudent approach is to not permit its expedition, in order to avoid disagreement.
