Is a Muslim girl obligated to obey her polytheist parents, and is it permissible for her to marry a Muslim man without their permission?

A Muslim woman must obey her polytheist parents unless they command her to commit an act of disbelief (kufr) or disobedience. If she wishes to marry a Muslim man, she is not obligated to seek their permission, because they have no guardianship over her, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "And never will Allah grant the disbelievers a way [to triumph] over the believers" (Quran 4:141), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Islam is exalted and nothing is exalted above it." Her Muslim guardian should marry her off, and if there is no Muslim guardian, then the judge assumes the role of marrying her off.
