How can the building of Al-Aqsa Mosque be forty years after the Sacred Mosque, even though the time span between Ishmael, Isaac, and Jacob is forty years?

The Hadith indicates that the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) was the first mosque built on Earth, followed by al-Aqsa Mosque forty years later. The intention here is the initial construction and foundation of the two mosques, not that Ibrahim was the first to build the Kaaba or that Suleiman was the first to build Bayt al-Maqdis. It has been said that Adam, peace be upon him, built both of them, or that he built the Sacred Mosque, and then one of his sons built al-Aqsa.
