Does the reward for reciting Surat Al-Mulk reach the deceased, including its consequence of salvation from the torment of the grave, or does only the reward for the recitation reach him?

Reciting Surat Al-Mulk saves its reciter from the torment of the grave and intercedes for him on the Day of Resurrection until he is forgiven and enters Paradise. It prevents the torment of the grave from its reciter. It was narrated in a Hadith that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, a Surah from the Qur'an - thirty verses - interceded for a man until he was forgiven, and it is 'Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion'." It was also narrated: "There is a Surah in the Qur'an, which is but thirty verses, that argued on behalf of its companion until it admitted him into Paradise, and it is Surah Tabarak."
