Is a wife considered rebellious and does the ruling of nushuz (rebellion) apply to her according to Sharia, such that she is not entitled to claim any financial dues, and will the money she obtains be lawful or not, if she leaves the marital home and files for divorce despite the husband's attempts to bring her back, and the availability of securing a private home?

If a wife leaves her husband's home without a valid excuse, she is considered disobedient (nashiz), and her right to maintenance is forfeited. The husband is then permitted to refuse to divorce her until she relinquishes some of her rights to him. However, if her departure was due to a valid excuse, she is not considered disobedient, and she is entitled to the rights of a divorcee if a divorce occurs. It is the Islamic judge who determines whether the wife had a valid excuse for her departure or not.
