Will God hold us accountable for not responding to those who insult the Companions, the Mothers of the Believers, and Banu Umayyah, especially since we cannot respond to them under the current circumstances?

Whoever hears the Companions being reviled must denounce it to the best of their ability. If they cannot do so with their tongue, then with their heart. They must also leave the place and depart from it if possible; otherwise, they should suffice with denouncing it in their heart.
