Does a divorce that occurred as a single pronouncement during the day in Ramadan, while the wife was menstruating and in a state of anger, take effect? And if not, what is the legal solution?

Divorcing a menstruating woman is an innovated and forbidden divorce, yet it is considered valid according to the majority of scholars. Anger does not prevent a divorce from occurring unless it causes the person to lose consciousness. The husband may take his wife back without a new contract as long as she is within her waiting period (iddah). If the waiting period ends, then a new contract is required with the permission of the guardian (wali) and the presence of witnesses. One must be cautious of anger and haste in uttering words of divorce.
