Is it permissible to supplicate to Allah Almighty through the Kursi, the 'Arsh, and the light that was sent down upon the heart of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

Supplicating to Allah (Tawassul) is done through His names and attributes, and through righteous deeds, and this is affirmed in the authentic Sunnah. As for supplicating through created beings, it is forbidden, such as supplicating through the Throne (Al-Arsh) or the Footstool (Al-Kursī), or by the right of so-and-so, or by the prophets and saints, because no creature has a right over the Creator. As for supplicating through "the light that was sent down" (النور الذي أنزل): if what is meant by it is the Qur'an, then it is permissible because it is the word of Allah and one of His attributes. But if what is meant by it is the light of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, then it is forbidden because it is supplicating through the essence of a created being.
