Does watching pornographic films of naked women constitute the crime of adultery, and what is its legal ruling and expiation?

It is forbidden to watch lewd films, and it is considered one of the causes of corruption and the destruction of morals, leading to fornication and sodomy, based on the words of Allah Almighty: "Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do." (Quran 24:30) And the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Do not let one glance follow another, for you are allowed the first, but not the second." Whoever has been afflicted by this should turn to Allah in sincere repentance by abandoning it, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it.
