Magic is real and has an effect by Allah's will. It is permissible for whoever suspects they are afflicted by magic to treat themselves with legal and any permissible means available. It is not permissible to believe the woman who speaks about magic, as this is accusing someone without proof, and because she might receive information from devils. Believing her is considered consulting and believing soothsayers.
