The answer

May Allah reward you for defending the religion and your zeal for it. Only those deeply knowledgeable in Sharia should confront atheists. We advise you to seek religious knowledge and understanding and to avoid associating with atheists or listening to their specious arguments.

As for the Qur'an truly being the word of Allah, there is decisive evidence for this, including: Allah's challenge to humans and jinn to produce its like, and their inability to do so; Allah's guarantee to preserve it from alteration and distortion; the absence of any discrepancy or error within it; its attainment of the highest degree of eloquence and inimitability; the concession of disbelievers that the Qur'an is not human speech; its foretelling of unseen matters that have come to pass, such as the news of past and future nations; and its inclusion of Allah's admonishment of the Prophet, peace be upon him.

As for the specious argument that the sky is a solid roof and that modern science has proven it to be gaseous, it is unfounded. What modern science proves pertains to the components of the atmosphere, not the true heaven mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
