Is it permissible for me to work for a company that provides video identity verification services for individuals who wish to activate phone SIM cards, open bank accounts, or obtain loans from banks, knowing that my job is to verify the identities of these individuals?

It is permissible to work in a video identity verification job if it is for activating permissible services. It is not permissible if it is for forbidden services, such as usurious loans or subscribing to gambling halls, based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.﴾. Verifying identity to complete a usurious loan is considered direct assistance in what is forbidden, and "the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cursed the one who consumes Riba (usury), the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses, and he said: 'They are all alike.'" If your work is limited to what is permissible, there is no harm, but if it necessitates assisting in what is forbidden, then it is obligatory to leave the job.
