A small number of people will remain steadfast in their faith, while the Dajjal will be followed by most of the people of the earth. The Dajjal will first appear as a king, then claim prophethood, then divinity. He will mislead many ignorant people, but the believers will remain firm in their faith. Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) will descend during the days of the Dajjal, and he will pursue him at the Gate of Lod and kill him.
