If the deceased leaves behind only a mother, three full brothers, two full sisters, and paternal half-brothers and sisters, then the mother receives one-sixth (8 shares) due to the presence of a group of siblings, as stated in the Almighty's words: "If he has brothers, then for his mother is one-sixth." The remainder goes to the full brothers and two full sisters by 'asaba (agnatic succession), with the male receiving the share of two females (10 shares for a brother, 5 shares for a sister), as stated in the Almighty's words: "And if they are brothers, men and women, then for the male is the share of two females." There is nothing for the paternal half-brothers and sisters; they are excluded by the full siblings (exclusion of deprivation). The inheritance is divided into 48 shares.
