Is it permissible to love without the knowledge of the family and then get engaged, and is this considered forbidden such that God would not bless it?

The widespread relationships between young men and women, under the guise of love and marriage, are a gateway to temptation and a pretext for evil. However, mere affection and attachment of the heart are not blameworthy. If such an attachment occurs, their marriage is not forbidden. Rather, marriage is the ideal solution: "We have not seen for two who love one another anything like marriage." A legitimate marriage resulting from an illicit relationship does not mean it is not blessed. If marriage is not feasible, they must distance themselves from this attachment and strive to maintain chastity through marriage and occupy their time with what is beneficial.
