Is it forbidden to feel jealous of those present in the Kaaba while watching it on television?

If jealousy of people being in the Holy Sanctuary means wishing for their blessings to disappear, then it is forbidden (haram). However, if it means desiring to obtain a similar blessing without it disappearing from them, then this is called ghibtah (envy in a good sense). Ghibtah is praiseworthy if it pertains to acts of obedience, permissible if it pertains to permissible matters, and blameworthy if it pertains to acts of disobedience.
