What is the ruling on vowing to divide one's salary equally between the one who makes the vow and his parents, who are not in need of the money, after securing a job?

This vow is valid for the parents, and it is obligatory to fulfill it when the condition of employment is met, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him." It is not permissible to retract it. It is recommended for the parents to give you some of the money you vowed to them.
