Is it permissible to work as an engineer at the Arab International Bank if the current job does not provide adequate financial compensation?

If working in a bank leads to direct or indirect participation in usurious transactions, then it is impermissible, due to the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." However, if the bank is Islamic, there is no objection to working in it, provided that the correct Sharia compliance is ensured.
