Abu Sufyan Sakhr ibn Harb is a venerable Companion who embraced Islam on the Day of the Conquest (of Mecca). His Islam became excellent thereafter, his faith strengthened, and his resolve in the religion of Allah became firm. He is among the most virtuous Companions, whom it is obligatory to love and be loyal to, and whom it is not permissible to hate.
