What is the ruling on saying or writing "cloning magic"?

Merely uttering or writing the words "magic" or "cloning" is permissible. Naming a game "magic" does not make it unlawful if it does not involve any actual practice of magic. This is because applying the word "magic" to an action due to its extreme strangeness or its ability to evoke wonder is considered a common metaphor in the language. "Magic" is used for anything subtle and refined in its origin, and from this comes the Hadith: "Indeed, some eloquence is magic." It is also used to denote trickery, as in Allah's saying: {They said, "You are only among those bewitched"} [Al-Shu'ara: 153], meaning those tricked. However, if the game involves affirming or glorifying magic, then playing it is forbidden.
