Will God punish the killer of his rapist by dooming him to eternity in Hell?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Rape is a grave crime that deserves severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter. Defending one's honor is an obligation, and it is permissible for the victim, whether male or female, to defend themselves by any means possible, even if it leads to the death of the assailant, and there is no sin upon them for that. As for the coerced person who was unable to defend themselves, they are excused and not sinful; they are wronged and await reward from Allah, and their supplication is answered. The implementation of legal punishments (Hudud) and retribution (Qisas) rests with the ruler or their deputy. Killing the assailant after their assault has ended is considered a sin and exposes the perpetrator to punishment. Therefore, it is advised to be patient, seek reward from Allah, and supplicate against the oppressor, for Allah answers the supplication of the wronged.
