How is the inheritance of a deceased husband divided between his wife and his parents if he has no children?

If a man dies and leaves behind a wife, a father, and a mother, the inheritance is divided as follows: The wife gets one-fourth due to the absence of a lineal descendant (heir from offspring). The mother gets one-third due to the absence of siblings. The father receives the remainder of the inheritance, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those who are entitled to them; then whatever remains is for the closest male relative."
