Would a person who works as a flight attendant for an airline that does not serve alcohol, and who dies defending passengers on a hijacked flight, be considered a martyr in the sight of God?

A person killed while defending passengers during a hijacking is considered a martyr, Allah willing. He is a doer of good, and his reward is according to his intention and seeking of reward from Allah. Jurists have stipulated that anyone unjustly killed, in any manner, such as in defense of oneself, one's property, or one's family, is considered a martyr.
