Is a wife considered disobedient (nashiz) if she leaves her husband's home several times without his knowledge, and do her rights fall in this case? What are the implications of a husband saying to her "you are divorced" in a moment of anger after she accused him of lying, knowing that this is the first divorce?

It is incumbent upon the wife to perform her household duties and raise the children. Her neglect of these duties and her departure from the marital home without returning renders her disobedient (nashiz), and she forfeits her right to maintenance until she returns.

A revocable divorce does not prevent the husband from taking his wife back during her waiting period ('iddah), based on the Almighty's saying: "And their husbands have a greater right to take them back in that [period] if they wish reconciliation."

The husband is advised to approach his wife wisely and remind her of Allah's right and his own right. If she responds, then praise be to Allah. But if she persists in her disobedience, then divorce brings ease to both of them, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if they separate [by divorce], Allah will enrich each from His abundance."
