What should a Muslim girl studying in Germany, without a mahram, do when she has decided to return to her family, but they refuse, and she knows that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, disavowed any Muslim who resides among the polytheists?

A Muslim's residence among polytheists is dangerous due to the moral decay and deviation from the natural disposition (fitra) it entails, especially for an unmarried woman in a mixed environment without her family. Just as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prevented a man from jihad and ordered him to perform Hajj with his wife, it is even more imperative for a woman to return to her Muslim country, even if her family has spent money on her education.
