How can true purity be determined when there are various colored and shaped discharges, and blood that may accompany them, in addition to the intermittent nature of menstruation that may not end with a white discharge, causing extreme confusion?

A woman suffering from continuous discharge must perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun. The default assumption for blood is that it is menstruation unless it exceeds 15 days. If menstruation is intermittent, she performs ghusl (definition) and prays after purification, and considers the returning blood as menstruation, as long as the total does not exceed 15 days. Purification is achieved by the discharge of white seminal fluid (al-qassah al-bayda') or complete dryness.
