What is the ruling on reconciling between brothers whose gatherings are predominantly characterized by backbiting, cutting off family ties, and insults, and who do not desist when advised?

Reconciling disputes is one of the best deeds and most beloved to Allah. It aims to reconcile disputing parties to restore harmony and quell discord, as Islamic law has prohibited hatred and turning away from one another. Therefore, one must strive to reconcile people, while enjoining good and forbidding evil.
