How is the estate to be divided for a man who passed away, leaving behind three daughters, a son, four brothers, his parents, a house, a field, a sum of money, in addition to his pension, which, according to the law, goes to his wife?

The deceased's money and rights are divided among his children, wife, and parents, because the siblings are excluded by the son and the father. Each of the parents receives one-sixth due to the presence of a lineal descendant (heir). The wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a child. What remains after the shares of the parents and the wife is for the children by way of residuary inheritance ('asabah), with the male receiving twice the share of the female. As for the pension allocated to the deceased's wife, if it was deducted from the deceased's salary, it is divided like the rest of his property among all heirs. If it was a gift from the granting entity to the wife, then it remains exclusively hers, without inclusion of other heirs. The matter of inheritances should be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation, as there may be matters unknown, such as wills, debts, and other rights.
