If the deceased leaves behind only a wife, a daughter, two full sisters, and two full paternal nephews, then: The wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a direct heir. The daughter receives one-half because she is the sole daughter. The remainder goes to the two full sisters by 'asabah (residual heirship) to be divided equally between them, based on the : "Sisters become 'asabah with daughters." The two full paternal nephews receive nothing, as they are completely excluded by the full sisters. The estate is divided into sixteen shares: The wife receives two shares, the daughter receives eight shares, and the two full sisters receive six shares, with each sister receiving three shares.
