Is it permissible for me to send money to my needy parents without my husband's knowledge, when he disapproves?

If the money is the wife's property, she has the freedom to dispose of it without her husband's permission, especially if her parents are poor, in which case it is obligatory for her to support them if she is well-off. However, if she wishes to spend from her husband's money, she must have his permission and consent. It is commendable for the husband to help his wife's poor relatives, as this is a part of good companionship.
