Is refraining from visiting relatives who cause harm through sorcery and create problems considered forbidden (haram)?

"Kinship ties are obligatory, and severing them is forbidden. Uncles and aunts are among the kin whose ties must be maintained. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded maintaining kinship ties even with those who sever them, saying: 'The one who maintains ties is not the one who reciprocates, but rather the one who, when his kinship ties are severed, reconnects them.' If maintaining ties with a relative causes proven harm to the one maintaining them, then it is not obligatory in that instance. Maintaining ties is not limited to visiting only; rather, it includes everything that custom considers maintaining ties, such as calling, corresponding, and greeting. There are degrees to maintaining ties, the lowest of which is abandoning estrangement and maintaining ties with a greeting. Therefore, it is obligatory to maintain ties with uncles and aunts in a way that does not cause harm to the one maintaining them."
