How do I perform prayers while traveling on a bus, especially Fajr prayer? Should I pray before traveling or after arriving? If I pray on the bus, how do I determine the Qibla? Is it permissible to combine Maghrib and Isha after arrival?
"The believer must perform the prayer within its divinely appointed time, due to the saying of Allah Almighty: ""Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times."" And it is not permissible to offer it early except in cases of combining prayers. Therefore, the bus driver and passengers should be urged to stop to establish the prayer. If that is not possible, then ablution is obligatory, and prayer should be performed in the bus, fulfilling as much of the conditions and pillars as possible. His prayer is valid, and he does not have to repeat it. If the journey is the distance of shortening the prayer, and the stay is less than four days, then combining and shortening the prayer are permissible, but it is better to leave it unless there is a need.
