Must one make up prayers missed due to doubt concerning the rulings of purity, or due to not knowing their number?

The jurists differed regarding a menstruating woman making up prayers that are combined with the one in whose time she became pure. The majority hold that it is obligatory to make up the Dhuhr and Asr prayers if she becomes pure before Maghrib, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers if she becomes pure before Fajr, due to the continuity of the prayer time during a state of excuse. Others hold that it is only obligatory to make up the prayer in whose time she became pure, based on the absence of explicit evidence for the obligation to make up the other prayers. This view is considered more cautious and better to absolve oneself, but we do not see it as obligatory. As for performing ghusl (definition) before seeing the white discharge, it is valid if she observes complete dryness; otherwise, she must wait until she observes dryness or the white discharge.
