How can one begin learning about religious matters if one has little knowledge, and what books are suggested for reaching an advanced level in Sharia scholarship, keeping in mind not to get accustomed to lengthy reading?

It is recommended to begin studying Fiqh with the book "Al-Fiqh Al-Muyassar," and in Aqeedah with "Aqeedat Al-Mu'min" by Al-Jazairi. For Tafsir, "Al-Mukhtasar fi Al-Tafsir" or "Tafsir Al-Sa'di" are suggested. In Hadith, "Riyad As-Salihin with Sharh Al-Uthaymeen" is advised. For spirituality and conduct (Raqaiq and Suluk), "Khuluq Al-Muslim" by Al-Ghazali and "Ad-Da' wa Ad-Dawa'" by Ibn Al-Qayyim are recommended. For Seerah (Prophet's biography), "Ma'a Al-Mustafa" by Salman Al-Ouda, followed by "Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum." If reading becomes difficult, it is advisable to listen to lectures by proficient scholars, especially Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen.
