How do I deal with liars?

Lying is a reprehensible trait that leads to other bad characteristics. To combat this scourge, liars must be advised by explaining the virtues of truthfulness and the evils of lying. One should not rely on their statements and should seek help from those among them who accept advice. If their harm and lies to people increase, then they must be warned against, and their flaws exposed, for they are openly dissolute. Moreover, one must avoid their companionship and not entrust them with anything, for a liar may steal the mind and betray a trust.
