What is the ruling on my evading giving my partner details of my work, and informing him of a profit less than the real profit, so that I can take a share for myself, knowing that he does not want me to take a satisfactory percentage? And can I continue in this situation and disclose it to him after three months?

If a company is founded on truthfulness and trustworthiness, blessings will descend upon it. However, if it is tainted by betrayal, the blessings will be eradicated. Allah the Almighty says: "I am the third of the two partners, as long as one of them does not betray his companion. But if he betrays him, I depart from between them." Concealing the true profit from a partner in order to take a higher percentage is deception, lying, injustice, and taking money unlawfully. Therefore, it is not permissible, according to Islamic law, to engage in betrayal of a partner or to conceal the true profit from him.

The solution is to negotiate with the partner and agree on a satisfactory percentage; otherwise, it is better to leave this partnership. Deceiving him to obtain a larger percentage is not permissible.
